Welcome To Hometown Athletics!

Hello, and welcome to Hometown Athletics! I'd like to make a quick thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey so far. We have come so far since we started our Instagram soccer page for Hometown Athletics back in June of 2018 and we will continue to move further on.

Hometown Athletics is a project I had in mind for years, but never acted upon, until late June of 2018. It was scary at first, because you never know the outcome. As time went on, and I started to post more, that fear went away. I found myself enjoying every second of training, progress, and time spent with old/new friends. As I continued to train and meet new people, I figured out, this is what I really wanted to do. I wanted to share my passion for playing the beautiful game. Keep in mind, English was my least favorite subject, so the fact that I am writing this much, shows that I truly do love the sport. Anyways, I'm on a mission to persist and work hard until I achieve my goal. My goal is to share my passion for soccer through videos, whether it be through training sessions, 5-a-side games, or the dope times we share with friends. Lastly, it doesn't take much to get started on what you really want to do. It all started with a $20 ball, the camera app on my phone, and my cousin who shares the same passion as me. Shout out to Eric for being a brother and helping guide me on our soccer journey as well as the guys who come out to support and play.
